Day 8 now :)

Postby animal123 » Thu Apr 15, 2010 12:23 am

Hello,

Well my 12 chinese painted quail eggs are on day 8 in my Brinsea Mini Eco, I candled 4 right now and could see veins :woo:  I just have a question : When the chicks hatch how long should I wait to remove them, As I have heard that they need to eat very soon after hatching.

Thanks in advance,

animal123 :)

They don't need to eat very soon, they'll be fine in the incubator for 24 hours. Its best to wait until they've all hatched to start removing chicks.
